Split units are characterized by a separate refrigerant module and a hydronic module. These systems allow for the extraction of heat from the outside air while simultaneously heating the indoor space, and vice versa. Thus, they represent a bivalent, environmentally friendly, and renewable solution.

The cooling module can be installed on an exterior wall, on the floor, or on the roof, while the hydronic module is positioned inside the house to minimize the risk of freezing in the water pipes.
